Today I woke up with the nice news that Savannah approved quickly (just a few days waiting) a project called "emacs-i18n" (Emacs Internationalization).

I introduced it as an "experimental zone" according to the suggestions from one of the Emacs maintainers in the emacs-devel list in reply to a message I sent a couple of months ago.

I still do not setup it, but these days I will do so. My request was in Savannah because this is an ideal site for these things, having "next" bzr repository of GNU Emacs itself and because in my server would be very difficult to install Bazaar.

So this will remain the main page of the initiative and Savannah will be the project one in its more technical issues: code repository, patches, bug reports, etc.
